3 Q3 Y: ^$ D+ yMy son just passed me the offical notice about Dreamblade. I feel that you are making a very bad mistake. I got into the game so that my son and I would have something we could do together as a family, I am a single parent. I have enjoyed the game very much. My son has tried to teach me other games but I'm just to hard headed to understand them. This was the only game we could truly play together and he did not have to let me win.

I have watched this game grow from a starting pool of 6 players to over 33 registered players with our turnaments running an average of 13 to 16 players every week. We now have families that play together that have never enjoyed a game as a family other than the same old boring board or card games. We have 4 families and more getting interested all the time. The kids start by learning either at our store or at school then come and join in the fun." H% a# u, A/ g, X& W: W5 u
; r8 Q4 B0 r7 r2 v$ M qI wish you to reconsider your decision. I realize that Dreamblade is a different type of game but the learning aspect outweighs some of the lower purchases. This is a game of strategy, change, development of warbands and you don't need the most expense pieces to win the game. We regularly hold tournaments that are not the stardard warbands. For example, "All commons," "4 from each color," a variety of drafts, and much more. May be these types of tournaments need to be offered as a more relaxing and fun challenge. w, h. y+ s) B8 ]; q+ U

This is not a game of who has the most money to buy the best cards like Magic and some of the others. While the best rares can help, they don't always win the game.
